Movement Based Physiotherapy (MBPT) at Body Moves is an individually tailored treatment method and is used in conjunction with functional training and mainstream physiotherapy techniques. It is ideal for rehabilitation, preventing further injury and for general health and well-being.
Sessions are conducted by qualified Physiotherapists with a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and biomechanics. It is unique and very different from generic or fitness based routines and is designed to find and heal the root cause of an injury or painful area.
Initial assessments are performed by the Physiotherapist using detailed diagnostic techniques. Treatment techniques are then used in sessions which are individually prescribed by the Physiotherapist and are specific to client needs. Progress is continually monitored.
