The universal energies HATHA -- SUN/ MOON are brought into balance within the body through various activities that still the mind. This balance is achieved in yoga by the mindful practice of asana (poses), pranayama (breath control), mudra (hand gestures) and bunda (internal locks and seals).
Each class is different, and while some will have rhythmic movements in graceful sequences, other classes will concentrate on holding poses longer and the grace will come from stillness and inner engagement. Postures are accessible, fluid and graceful, providing a holistic yoga programme for the complete beginner to the well seasoned practitioner.
Existing injuries and ailments can be catered for by the use of props or a modified practise after discussion with your teacher at the beginning of class.
