At Body Moves, private 1-1 tuition is available at fees tailored to individual needs. Existing injuries and ailments can be catered for by the use of props or a modified practice.
The universal energies HATHA -- SUN/ MOON are brought into balance within the body through various activities that still the mind. This balance is achieved in yoga by the mindful practice of asana (poses), pranayama (breath control), mudra (hand gestures) and bandha (internal locks and seals).
Each session is different, and while some will have rhythmic movements in graceful sequences, others will concentrate on holding poses longer and the grace will come from stillness and inner engagement. Postures are accessible, fluid and graceful, providing a holistic yoga programme for the complete beginner to the well seasoned practitioner.
